I can't believe I have lived in the area for 15 years and never made it here for ice cream until this summer. Yummy flavors, high quality and very friendly staff. They offer a flight of 4 baby scoops and what an awesome idea to apply to ice cream! I get to try a variety without overeating. Cute little park with benches connected to the property. It is tough to find parking on busy nights since it's only street parking. They do offer on-line ordering and pick up if you are just looking to grab and run.

Went with the family to get ice cream after dinner. Pretty good! Lots of ice cream toppings to choose from. Pricing is about what you'd expect to pay for ice cream. It has a great outside seating area with benches, lighting and a butterfly area. No seating inside. I ordered the decadent chocolate which was pretty good, and the fam got the sorbet and rocky road. Size was pretty generous. Would recommend!

Capannari Ice Cream's blend of high-quality ingredients, innovative flavors, and a genuine neighborhood feel makes it one of the best ice cream spots in the Chicago area. Highly recommended for anyone who loves authentic, artisanal ice cream! I enjoyed the butter pecan and Java chip ice cream!

Beautiful location with outside seating and a few stools inside (no seating upstairs). Staff were very friendly and helpful. They offered a few free tasting of some of their ice cream as we weren't sure which one to get as this was our first time at this ice cream shop. All the flavours we tried and got were awesome, I loved their peanut butter ice cream- as good as Graeter's, Laura secord and Shawn's (last two are Canadian brand). Definitely returning for more and will recommend to friends/family.

They added a vegan milkshake! They used oat milk, Oreos, and their vegan vanilla ice cream for the shake, it was delicious. It's great to have no -dairy options expanding here!

Fantastic ice cream, family run, friendly customer service. Capannari is always busy. In the half a dozen times I've been there, there's never been a line! Last night, we went for a Mother's Day Ice Cream at 8:00 p.m. and there was a line down the block. We skipped it and went somewhere else. That's a good sign and a bad sign.

The best of the best in the area - Capanari's Ice Cream. They are very comparable to Oberweis Ice Cream. Capannari is open seasonally from March until Halloween usually. They have rotating seasonal/weekly flavors along with your classic Ice Cream flavors - I really like the Madagascar Vanilla Milkshakes. The workers are also very friendly, there's a patio and garden outside you can enjoy your ice cream in or a small couple of chairs inside. Definitely try them if you're in the area and want some great ice cream!

I was lucky enough to get some free samples at work. Capannari has previously catered events in our office. They make some tasty local products. We received some Java ice cream and cookie dough. Tasty tasty! They also have vegan and non dairy options. I really wanted to take pics but it got devoured super fast all I have is this lonely business card which we call shortly for more! Oh and they're getting lots of orders for their shamrock shake flavor for St. Pat. Seeing the Ice Cream man brings up nostalgia and hope that summer will come early!
